ESMC-1

ESMC-1 media converter is intended for time synchronization of the devices which have optical interfaces and support IRIG-A, IRIG-B protocols or pulse sequence of PPS of 1 Hz. The operation principle of ESMC-1 media converter is based on conversion of the electric signal coming on the input via RS-485 interface to optical signals. ESMC-1 media converter has 6 optical outputs. The protocol of time synchronization at the optical outputs corresponds to the protocol of synchronization on RS-485.
ESMC-1 media converter allows to synchronize devices with a high accuracy without delay on conversion of signals.
ESMC-1 media converter can be used for synchronization of mediation devices with the bus of process of ENMU (AMU). Time sync module ENCS-2 can be used as a source of coordinated universal time (UTC).
