ESX231

The ESX231 series includes compact I/O modules for digital and analog signals. ESX231 can be used as independent components of a distributed automated control system or as cost-effective additional modules for ENIP-2 and ESM measuring devices.

RS-485 port is divided into two RJ45 sockets with pinout (interface + power supply) similar to ENIP-2 (RS-485-2) and ESM (COM-2). Patch cords can be used to connect ESX231 devices.

ENIP-2 and ESM internal power supply allows powering up to three ESX231 modules or one ESX231 module with ENMI. The communication line between ENIP-2 (ESM) and powered devices should be up to 20 meters. If it is necessary to connect a larger number of ESX231 modules or the line length exceeds 20 m, external power must be provided — for example, using the EX5RJX splitter.
