ES Transmon
A promising area in the electric power industry is the application of synchronized vector measurement technology for monitoring the condition of power equipment and measuring current and voltage transformers.
ES Transmon is an automated one (two)-level monitoring and technical diagnostics system for a power transformer based on the use of synchronized vector measurement technology. According to the technology of synchronized vector measurements, ES Transmon calculates the parameters of the transformer replacement circuit and identifies possible defects and malfunctions based on the dynamics of changes in these parameters. In case of detection of deviations of the parameters from the standard values, the ES Transmon generates a warning and alarm system.
The system continuously monitors the parameters of the power system modes and the load of the power transformer, as well as evaluates the state of circuits of measuring current transformers and voltage transformers to which synchronized vector measurement units are connected.
The transformer status monitoring system includes:
– ENIP-2 PMU synchronized vector measurement devices;
– ENCS-2 time correction unit;
– discrete and analog input and output modules ENMV-1 (monitoring the position of the voltage regulation device under load, transformer blowout, temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, etc.);
– ES-TSM power transformer monitoring and diagnostics device.
ES Transmon also includes server software that allows you to collect, store and process all diagnostic information from facilities equipped with ES-TSM and provide access to it via a web browser at the workplaces of maintenance and repair service specialists.
ES-TSM processes data from various devices (SVI, sensors, etc.) and, using computational and analytical models, identifies abnormal operating modes of the power transformer. The parameters are displayed in various graphical forms on a color touch screen and can be transferred to the facility's automated process control system.
ES-TSM is installed on panels or in cabinets. Optionally, the ES-TSM can be supplied with a built-in 4G router that provides secure data transmission.
It is possible to download retrospective diagnostic reports to the memory card via the built-in USB Type-C port located under the ES-TSM screen.
The ES-TSM performs the following functions:
– collection of measured parameters of the power transformer, formation and storage of the results of the assessment of the technical condition of the power transformer;
– visualization of warning and emergency alarms;
– chronological logging of events;
– display of parameters in the user interface;
– self-diagnosis of the system;
– support for standard data exchange protocols;
– parameterization and configuration of the system without shutting down;
– service functions (calibration of measuring channels, checking the serviceability of the interface device with a discrete I/O object, serial communication channels and a real-time clock);
– the possibility of supplementing the system with calculation and service programs;
– scalability (connection of additional modules, sensors).
