Protocol converters

Many facilities rely on legacy devices with limited interfaces and proprietary data exchange protocols. ENCS-3m and ENCM-3 act as protocol converters, allowing these devices to be integrated into the facility’s automated system.

These RTUs (Remote Terminal Units) collect data via serial ports and Ethernet interfaces, supporting both standard and proprietary protocols. The acquired data is then transmitted to upper-level devices or servers via serial ports or Ethernet (PRP, RSTP) using standard protocols, including IEC 61850-8-1.

This solution provides flexibility for integrating older equipment into modern automation systems while maintaining compatibility with various devices and protocols.
