Analysis of low-frequency oscillations

Engineering center "Energoservice" is working to identify and determine the source of low-frequency oscillations in the power system using synchronized vector measurements. The created tools allow to investigate the processes of the energy system both from archival data and from data received from PMU device "online" at the pace of the process. For timely detection of the low-frequency source, a framework and a digital signal processing library (DSP) have been developed.

The framework allows you to scale the task by paralleling and efficient use of computing resources. The DSP library uses asymptotically efficient algorithms.

Several original methods are used to improve the reliability of the results. Verification of correctness and accuracy of methods is carried out together with JSC "System Operator of the Unified Energy System" within the framework of the working group of the B5 of the Russian National Committee of SIGRE.
